Warranty Policy — Axent LED Inc.

At Axent LED Inc., we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products and reliable service. This warranty policy outlines the terms, exclusions, and conditions applicable to the warranty offered on our products and services.


1. Scope of the Warranty

The warranty applies to all products and services provided by Axent LED Inc.

  • Clearance items: These products are covered by a limited warranty of 30 days from the invoice date, or as required by the Quebec Office of Consumer Protection, whichever is greater.

  • Product only: The product is covered and will be replaced upon presentation of valid proof of purchase.

  • Custom assembly: Full warranty including products and labor.

  • Installation by our team: Full warranty including labor, travel, and products.


2. Warranty Period

The warranty is valid for 2 years starting from the invoice date.


3. Conditions for Warranty Eligibility

To be eligible for warranty coverage:

  • The product must have been installed by a certified professional

  • It must have been used in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications

  • The client must provide valid proof of purchase

  • The seller must be notified of a defect within one (1) week of its discovery


4. Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Misuse or improper handling

  • Accidents

  • Unauthorized modifications

  • Natural disasters

  • Electrical surges or power-related damage


5. Repairs or Replacements

In the event of a defect:

  • Product only: product will be replaced

  • Custom assembly: product will be repaired or replaced, including labor

  • Installed by Axent LED Inc.: on-site repair or replacement, depending on the situation

Associated costs:

  • If the initial shipping was handled by Axent LED Inc., return shipping costs will be covered by us.

  • If the client arranged initial shipping, return costs will be the client’s responsibility.

Replacement product type: Either new or refurbished, depending on product availability and lifecycle. The customer will be informed accordingly.


6. Warranty Claim Process

Warranty claims can be submitted:

Product return: May be required depending on the situation. Otherwise, a solution in accordance with applicable laws will be provided.

Processing time: Our team will respond to all claims within 48 business hours. Additional delays may apply depending on the case.


7. Geographic Coverage

This warranty is valid throughout Canada.


8. Required Documentation

To validate a warranty claim, the following documents may be requested:

  • Purchase invoice

  • Photo of the defective product

  • Photo of the installation

  • Any other photos or documents the seller deems relevant for warranty assessment


9. Transferability

The warranty is transferable in the event of resale, provided that we are informed of the transfer within 30 days of the new owner's acquisition.

Exception: If the product is sold through one of our authorized resellers, the 30-day notice requirement does not apply. The warranty remains valid for the end customer automatically.


10. Language

This policy is written in French and is also available in English. In case of interpretation discrepancies, the French version shall prevail.
